  13. ACVC TEST AVAILABILITY (7/17)

  15. One of the objectives of the ACVC review process for Ada 9X
  16. is to promote feedback on the test suite from various
  17. sources during its development.  In order to give users and
  18. compiler developers maximum visibility into the process, the
  19. Ada 9X Project Office will provide access to the tests that
  20. are being developed for Ada 9X prior to their formal
  21. release.  These tests can be accessed by anonymous ftp over the
  22. Internet from "ftp.sei.cmu.edu" in the directory "pub/acvc-9x".
  23. Naming conventions for the tests remain the same as for the
  24. Ada83 ACVC test suite except that a date has been appended
  25. to the file to identify the version of the
  26. test for the purposes of this preliminary release.

  28. Initially, the tests in the directory will be those that have
  29. been corrected, consolidated, or otherwise modified as a result
  30. of formulating a baseline test suite which will be applicable to
  31. both Ada83 and Ada 9X (the 9X-Basic baseline).  Subsequently,
  32. tests of Ada 9X specific functionality will be added.

  34. It should be understood that the tests in this directory
  35. represent work-in-progress and are subject to change.  They are
  36. under review by the ACVC Reviewers.  All comments should be sent
  37. by email to "ada9x-acvc@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu", with the full file
  38. name of the test in the subject line.
