  14. I am trying to find out if the following exists as a purchasable
  15. entity:
  16.  
  17. An "action register" or "issue management system", which would allow
  18. for assigning actions to one or more individuals. These actioned
  19. individuals could then post follow-up comments to the actions, and
  20. there could be give-and-take between actioner and actionee, as well
  21. as others who could be "copied" on the actions. Ideally, dates could
  22. be assigned to the actions, which could be closed by the actioner
  23. upon completion. Screens for selection, summary view, detail CRUD,
  24. etc. as appropriate.

  26. The desire, obviously, would be for Mac and Windows clients, over
  27. wide-area Ethernet, with a data or database server.

  29. If not for security and user interface issues, I would suggest
  30. USENET or even PacerForum, but neither quite meet the need exactly.
  31. Bear in mind that our customers for this application are largely
  32. novice executive-level types.

  36. conclusive to put together.
