  13. Hello,
  14. I am working the field of computer simulations of crystal growth,
  15. employing monte carlo or molecular dynamics techniques. I am using
  16. the Sun-SPARC 2 workstation with 24 bit monitor for this purpose.
  17. Since long time I was searching for some visualization tool and 
  18. just managed to build ray-shading pictures using VORT (from Univ.
  19. of Melbourne, Australia). However, they do not have any interactive
  20. capabilities and it is painstakingly very slow. Does any one help
  21. me in getting some software (can be commercial) which can do the
  22. following at least.
  23.   1. Draw spheres (24 bit rayshade)
  24.   2. Rotate along x,y,z axes
  25.   3. zoom/pan
  26. OR alternatively, I can generate PIX/TIFF format using VORT and is 
  27. there any package which can be used just to manipulate this file.
  28. I have tried many routines available at ftp sites including KHOROS,
  29. and exhaused and ffffffffrustrated. Please somebody rescue me!!!!!
