  35. bookstore June 1.

  37. We describe many major graphics file formats.  For most of them (all
  38. but JPEG and CGM) we go all the way down to the bit level so there's
  39. enough to write code that handles the file format.  We've attempted
  40. to include as much folklore as we can, e.g. the facts about PCX that
  41. aren't in the Z-Soft handout, poorly documented proprietary TIFF
  42. content types, and which fields in a TGA file people really use.
