  12. I need to find information about the .PIX graphics file format.  It is used by 
  13. amateur astronomers in many of their CCD cameras.  I need to know about 
  14. the image header and the footer (if one exists) and how the data is stored.

  16. I found one reference that says that there is a seven byte header that 
  17. containsinformation about the size of the image and its location in _memory_,
  18. but this makes no sense to me.
