- Hi,
-
- I'm planning to buy PC-clone (486) with Unix.
- For Unix I look for free Linux or BSD386, or if these
- fails I must go for commercial versions.
-
-
- My consern is what is needed that various graphics programs
- will run on PC/Unix system; I guess we are speaking about
- screen, hard disk size, what ever...
- For example, I have heard Khorsos.. Khoros takes a lot of
- disk space, how much that it takes? In compiling time?
- How much memory it does need while compiling it?
- That is, how large virtual memory/swap file there should be?
-
-
- If there are people who have PC/Unix system and have compiled
- various (public) softwares, I would lieke to discuss
- with them via e-mail or in appropriate newsgroup.
-
- If there are people who also are planning to byu
- a PC and would like to get info on these things, plese
- ask me summary or such.
-
-
- Hmm.. I see that I made several typos; well I don't
- have even line editor currently in use, so I ask patience
- on reading this :-)
