- We have a set of xray images that we are going to process and currently
- they do not have an associated header. We are thinking of putting our
- own unique header on to the file, but before doing that we would like to
- know if there are any file formats that would server us better. The images
- will be displayed on a megascan monitor (mostly) and on sun workstations.
- In addition they can be in a compressed format (JPEG using Autograph International
- JPEG software) or uncompressed format. Finally there will be five
- different classes of xray images (cervical, lumbar, etc), that are different
- sizes.
-
- Any reccomendations?
-
- Please respond to *ME* rather than the newsgroup and I will summarize if
- neccessary.

- Thanks,
