- Consider getting the Utah Raster Toolkit (URT).I don't know off-hand the
- location from which you can FTP this, but the name Spencer Tracy of
- the University of Utah is very closely associated with URT. It certainly
- does 24-bit image display on a 24-bit system; even if the default visual
- is only 8-bit. (If they pulled that code out, I will get very angry!)
