  21. I think you may be forgetting to execute theL
  22.  
  23.         (server-start)
  24.  
  25. command before trying to use the emacsclient.  This is not started
  26. automatically (though I start it in my startup file).  Might want to
  27. add that to the end of your .emacs file.
