- is there some way to insert special ASCII characters using emacs?
-
- i need to figure out how to type characters like:
-
- ÷ ⁿ Σ, ▀ et.al. and emacs doesn't seem to know what to do with the compose
- character sequences understood by many other editors. is there some way to
- insert the specific ASCII code for those characters??
-
- additionally, files that already have those characters (130- 255) are not
- accurately presented on the screen when viewed thru xemacs.
-
- mail replies graciously accepted
