- Um, the fact of the matter is that there *is* Unix support there, even
- if it has a few problems. And I've gotten 3.10e, 3.11a, and 3.11c to
- run on Suns and Xenixes with almost no effort. (Actually, 3.10e for
- Xenix was a problem, but 3.11 went fine.)

-
- Huh? I used the stock makefile for 3.11 to build 3.11a and 3.11c on a
- Sun. No problem. And I do *not* have 5bin in my path. The only big
- thing was a bug in unix.c, with one of the structures (I don't have the
- source code at my fingertips, sorry). There was a patch for this
- released within a couple of days of the original 3.11 release. The
- structure changed in 3.11, but unix.c still had the 3.10 version.

-
- I'm writing this followup using MicroEMACS 3.11c running under SunOS
- 4.1.something (or maybe it's 4.2.something by now, but it *did* work
- under 4.1). As I say, I really didn't have any problems. However, I'll
- mention that I couldn't get it to compile with GCC. But it worked fine
- with the Sun compiler. Strange, I know, but there it is.
-
- I'll try to send you some stuff as soon as I get a chance. Email me if
- you haven't seen anything by next weekend.
