  12. Does anyone know where I can get my paws on a good explanation of how
  13. to write macros for vi?  I have used a few macros, but don't quite
  14. understand some of the more subtle features.  For example, how does
  15. one discover what characters to use (that aren't "reserved" by vi or
  16. ex for a built-in function)?  Can you use CTRL-{some character} as a
  17. macro name?

  19. Also, is there a repository for useful macros lying around somewhere
  20. that can be used so we don't have to re-invent them?
