- I am going to be involved in a project in which I have to analyze
- speech signals. These speech signals are delivered as MU-LAW PCM
- data, sampled at 8000 Hz. After transforming the data to linear PCM,
- I want to perform a fourier transform, using approx. 10 ms data a time.
-
- Does anyone know of a good FFT algorithm for short-term sequences? I
- already experimented with the algorithms mentioned in "Numerical Recipes in
- C" but I had several problems with them.
-
- A second question; Are there any good books on digital signal processing
- with regard to speech processing?
-
- I will summarize to the net; this will take some time because I'm not here
- during the next week.
-
-
- Thanks in advance for any information,
-
- Johan Thole.
