- Have you checked Ariel Corporation in New Jersey? -They do the Digital Microphone
- for the NeXT, and I think I read in one of NeXT's catalogs that they produce
- a board for the PC that accepts the digital input from the digital mic. -Sorry,
- don't know their address right off the top of my head, but I'm sure you could
- contact them through a NeXT rep. The DM probably gives around a 15.5 bit dynamic
- range because of the fact that the digital electronics are not seperated from
- the transducer by a long analog cable, i.e. the cable transmits digitally encoded
- info.
