- I just bought the Boca 14.4 from J&R Music World for $229.00. After the
- bad experience I had with the Dallas Fax I owned for a couple weeks, the
- Boca was a pleasant surprise. It worked right out of the box, connected
- to everything I tried, got good CPS on downloads (~1650), the manual
- is pretty well written and complete, the included software (Quicklink II)
- installed with no problems, the fax seems to work fine, and Qmodem
- talks to it just fine with the init string supplied. For the money
- I think it's tough to beat. J&R's number is 800-221-8180 (no connection,
- just a satisfied customer). Your mileage may vary, but it works for me.
