- My brother had this same problem, so he bought some resistors and other
- junk from "the shack" and built a "Protect-Your-Carrier" kits. He told
- me he was going to get them copyrighted and trademarked and... but I think
- he got involved in another project.

- However, I snarfed the only three that he ever made and use them in my
- home. They work GREAT! I never have to worry about anyone picking up the
- phones anymore. If I'm on, they get a "dead" phone, when I drop carrier,
- then they get a dialtone. Real easy to install also, just unplug and plug.
