- This must be a problem with the Versaterm SLIP module. I run MaxFax and
- MacTCP together all the time, including over SLIP (though not with the VT
- SLIP :)). When my SLIP session disconnects, I can even see the lights on the
- modem flicker as MaxFax starts watching for calls again. Works great. The
- only thing I can think of off hand is that the Versaterm stuff may be using
- out of date ways of figuring out if the port is in use or not. Apple has
- changed the recommended method a couple of times since the Mac first came
- out...
