  23. This must be a problem with the Versaterm SLIP module.  I run MaxFax and 
  24. MacTCP together all the time, including over SLIP (though not with the VT 
  25. SLIP :)).  When my SLIP session disconnects, I can even see the lights on the 
  26. modem flicker as MaxFax starts watching for calls again.  Works great.  The 
  27. only thing I can think of off hand is that the Versaterm stuff may be using 
  28. out of date ways of figuring out if the port is in use or not.  Apple has 
  29. changed the recommended method a couple of times since the Mac first came 
  30. out...
