- Since a v32bis modem supports data compression and can send data to the
- computer at higher than the connect rate, you will want to set your baud rate
- at least at 19200 if not higher. In order for this to work you will also have
- to enable rts/cts and have a cable with the handshaking lines connected (which
- is most of them).
