  33. Why not 57.6k?  Most comm programs support it (including Telix 3.15), and
  34. if you do a quick calculation (14400 x v.42bis comp (4x)), you end up
  35. with 57.6k.  If the modem is behaving properly, it will fall back to
  36. anything below that.
