  25. ZyXEL bends over backwards to get new code in the hands of owners as
  26. fast an humanly possible. Why do companies like PPI continue to play
  27. such stupid games with owners of their products?

  29. USRobotics shipped zillions of 16.8K Duals with roms (2/92) that won't talk to
  30. HST's having a 4/13/88 supervisor date. This after owners had been reporting
  31. the same problem in the previous model since 5/91! When owners of the new
  32. modems call Tech Support for a debugged rom set they deny their existence.
  33. (someone on a local BBS went through this last month, and even when he
  34. requested the new roms which fix the "line reversal bug" they said there
  35. was no such thing until he pressed the issue. Now he has the new roms.)
