  25. ...and S191 isn't in the manual either.  It's in the separate addendum.

  29. S190=1S191=7 allow both old PEP compression and V.42bis; prefer V.42bis.
  30. S190=1S191=6 would disable old PEP compression but would allow V.42bis
  31.              to other WB's.
  32. S190=0       disables compression (s191 doesn't matter).
