  10. I am running a UUCP site and my feed has both V.32bis and WorldBlazer
  11. modems set up on separate lines. Since I have a WorldBlazer, I've been
  12. getting news via the WorldBlazer connects, but for curiosity's sake
  13. I've tried the V.32bis and seem to be getting significantly better
  14. rates. What's going on? I thought Super-PEP was supposed to give me
  15. 22kb modulation, while V.32bis is only 14.4kb. Is the fact that
  16. PEP is half-duplex hurting UUCP that badly?

  18. My modem settings are standard AT&F4, but the spoofing is turned off, and
  19. the DTE is locked at 57,600. My feed is set up for remote modem compression
  20. negotiation, and is locked in at 38,400.
