- I was just going to make the same point myself! In fact, in the last review of
- v.32bis/v.42bis modems in _PC Magazine_ (several months ago), only a couple of
- the modems reviewed (and a large nubmer were reviewed) supported a com port
- rate greater than 38.4 kbps.

- Perhaps things have changed by now, but this is something to keep in mind when
- shopping for a modem. Make sure the modem com port can support 57.6 kbps!!
