  12. I have an Interfax 12/48 modem for my Mac.  Everex in Fremont
  13. have just shipped me (for $77) what was supposed to be an upgrade
  14. (ie a complete new interior) up to the latest 24/96, only what
  15. has arrived here in London is an Everfax Upgrade pack, which is
  16. obviously an MS-DOS product.

  18. The board is longer than my case but the external connections are
  19. the same.  The board additionally has a mic attached and a slide
  20. switch on the side. Can anyone tell me whether, assuming I can
  21. get them to supply the proper case, the Everfax would work with
  22. Mac Interfax software, and whether it has features superior to the
  23. Interfax 24/96. What, for example is the mic for, and does it have
  24. MNP-5?

  26. Direct mail would be appreciated as I have to make a rapid
  27. decision on whether to ship it back.
