- To address all these issues, I can simply say "I seriously doubt it."

- Dallas is, IMHO, very willing to please their customers. They are
- 'new' relative to the market, but looking back, many now-reputable
- modem manufacturers were once 'new' relative to the market...
-
- A friend of mine purchased a DallasFax 9600 v.32/v.42 modem and was
- quite satisfied with it. However, then DallasFax put out their 14.4
- and he wanted one of those instead. He called up DallasFax hoping he
- could 'upgrade' for a minimal cost, and instead they gave him a direct
- swap! I was amazed.
-
- >Well I asked how long would
- >it take, they said it would take 4 - 6 weeks, But I need a modem, and can't

-
- I fail to see how your impatience reflects on DallasFax's reputation.
-
- >But I wonder If I was wise to hold the modem,
- >until I can Drive to Dallas! Since The Usual 2-4 page adds are not present,

-
- Don't you think that you're reading too far into the presence (or lack
- thereof) of a DallasFax advertisement in a leading computer magazine?
