- I tried this and NETX hangs the machine when it tries to locate a file
- server. (Not just times out, but hangs up!)
-
- I was conversing with some folks via E-mail about this, but my mail folders
- seems to have disappeared, so I have lost contact with who I was talking
- to about it.
-
- The reason I want to go through all this is to save on the ~80K of
- memory that all these TSR's take up (when I load LAN WorkPlace). Some
- nice fellow out there pointed out that there is something you can put in
- your NET.CFG file to reduce the number of buffers allocated by drivers
- such as LSL. The fellow showed LSL taking ~4K to load on his system,
- whereas it takes ~20K on mine. How is this done?
