- Hello.
-
- I'm wondering if any work is being done to standardize the
- connection creation/setup protocols for an ATM network. We
- are currently running an ATM network through a switch
- manufactured by Fore Systems which uses its own connection
- creation and signalling protocol, but something tells me that
- we will have problems when attaching another vendors switch to
- it and attempt to create a connection through both.
-
- Anyone out there taking the lead on this or will we all be
- forced to use only one manufacturer's switches for all of our
- ATM computing needs?
-
-
- Thanks.
