  12. Are there any references as to how the security issues are handled when
  13. secure databases are part of a distributed environment?  To handle the
  14. security of users on different databases and their passwords, any kind of
  15. a distributed query would necessitate somekind of online user-prompts for
  16. remote database connections.  Any information regarding this would be 
  17. appreciated.
