  15. The problem seems to be solved:

  17.   It was Informix Star 4.0.

  19.   If you set the variable SQLEXEC to sqlexec_tcp (as stated in the manual)
  20.   you will have no longer access to shared memory (but tbmonitor indicates
  21.   status is online).
  22.   Just unset SQLEXEC and you won't have any problems.
