  30. Check the INFORMIXDIR, TBCONFIG, and SQLEXEC environment variables. The
  31. engine must be up, but one or more of these variables doesn't match the
  32. engine's environment, so isql is looking in the wrong place.

  34. If TBCONFIG and SQLEXEC are not set, make sure that the engine is using
  35. the tbconfig file "$INFORMIXDIR/etc/tbconfig".
