  11. We have been using the newest release of Empress DBMS for a month now.
  12. This features the server-based DBMS, and significantly speeds up use vs.
  13. the older NFS-based version.  However, it seems quite buggy.  Empress
  14. staff are *extremely* helpful and dilligent in addressing the bugs, but,
  15. nevertheless, this makes for a difficult development situation, especially
  16. when the ultimate application is mission-critical to ouur company.

  18. So ... I was wondering if there's anybody else out there with this newest
  19. release.  What type of success are you having in using it?

  22. continuing to evaluate our options.
