- I have used Q&A and I have found that it is only good if the database is very
- simple in structure. Dbase is a relational database which is very good for
- combining different databases together; however, Q&A is only a "flat file"
- database which does not lend itself nicely for relationships to other files.
-
- Q&A does have a lookup feature which allows the developer to add a field in
- the "current" database which its value is "looked up" in another database and
- inserted into the current database. This means that Q&A is still a true "flat
- file" database which, in my opinion cannot be compared to Dbase.
-
- Don't get me wronng though, Q&A is a very easy to use package as long as you
- are only creating simple "flat file" databases. If you need relational Db's
- then use xBase etc...
-
- Hope this helps,
