  12. We are currently running Sybase SQL server on a networked Sun SPARC platform.
  13. I am currently interested in developing database front-end applications on
  14. the PC platform running under DOS and possibly Microsoft Windows that access
  15. a Sybase SQL server on a Unix server. I am particularly interested in develop-
  16. ing front-end apps using FoxPro 2.0. Does anyone out there have Sybase SQL
  17. servers running on Unix boxes and are writing PC front-end applications to
  18. access the Sybase SQL server? If so I would be very interested in hearing
  19. from you to find out what kinds of tools you are using, any difficulties
  20. encountered, recommendations, etc. I am also interested to hear from anyone
  21. who is using a PC dbms such as Paradox or SQLWindows and has used the module
  22. that links these packages to other SQL servers (such as Sybase) and how this
  23. is accomplished, what software is needed, licensing issues, etc.
