- We are currently running Sybase SQL server on a networked Sun SPARC platform.
- I am currently interested in developing database front-end applications on
- the PC platform running under DOS and possibly Microsoft Windows that access
- a Sybase SQL server on a Unix server. I am particularly interested in develop-
- ing front-end apps using FoxPro 2.0. Does anyone out there have Sybase SQL
- servers running on Unix boxes and are writing PC front-end applications to
- access the Sybase SQL server? If so I would be very interested in hearing
- from you to find out what kinds of tools you are using, any difficulties
- encountered, recommendations, etc. I am also interested to hear from anyone
- who is using a PC dbms such as Paradox or SQLWindows and has used the module
- that links these packages to other SQL servers (such as Sybase) and how this
- is accomplished, what software is needed, licensing issues, etc.

- Thanks for any info,
