  10.   Hi.  As the subject suggests, I'm looking for a straightforward database
  11. for novice unix users (on vt100-emulating terminals no less!). 
  12.  
  13.   The database would be used for basic data manipulation, uncomplicated
  14. searches, and generating reports, and would contain stuff like students'
  15. marks and equipment lists.  The user would have some database experience
  16. but little unix knowledge. 
  17.  
  18.   Would something like FoxPro or Paradox fit all these requirements?  Or
  19. am I living in a dream-world for even seeking such a database? (break it
  20. to me gently)
