  12. when it shows up again.  Sorry.

  14. You know what the subject is, so I won't mention it.  If you don't know,
  15. then please read the group for the next 60 days before posting anything
  16. but substantiated facts.  Better yet, read the FAQ.  Unfortunately, the
  17. explanation of how to find the FAQ if it is not currently among your
  18. set of articles in this group would be a long and complex set of instructions
  19. if it is to be precise.  If you have FTP access, you can connect to host
  20. "rtfm.mit.edu", cd to directory "pub/usenet/comp.compression" and grab
  21. the funny named files there.

  23. The heads are knocking on this between the theory that it is impossible
  24. vs. the rumored claims that it has been done.  According to the FAQ, it
  25. is not yet possible to apply an appropriate evaluation of the product.
  26. The FAQ tells all that is now known so it should be read first.

  28. I hope someone will keep being aggressive with the source of information
  29. and post a summary when real facts change.  Until then, nothing is new
  30. and idle questioners should be directed to the FAQ.
