  14. Thanks to everyone that responded.  I received many recommendations and
  15. after wandering around the stacks, because the catalog didn't list any of
  16. the recommended sources, I came across the third edition of _PROGRAMMING
  17. LANGUAGES A Grand Tour_.  It is a collection of articles and it contains
  18. several of the ones mentioned in your messages.  Again, thanks for your
  19. help.
