- I say always go with the "official" word... The good folks at GNU who
- bring us lots of great *free* software, all yield to their founder and
- say "GuhNew"... Remember that "GNU" is an acronym (GNU's Not Unix), so
- it's very proper to enounce the "G"...

- BTW -- the "official" document you refer to is the original charter which
- is in a form of a "README" file distributed with most GNU libs...
