  12. The latest release of the Virtual BBS/NET software, version 5.51, is now
  13. available for anonymous ftp from hunk.asel.udel.edu, in directory
  14. /pub/vbbs.  It should also be at nic.funet.fi in /pub/msdos/bbs/virtualbbs
  15. in a few days.

  17. The new release adds an entirely revamped database system, more config
  18. options, plus the usual speedups and enhancements.  Users of older
  19. versions *must* ugprade to 5.51, as the VNET.EXE program has changed.
