  22.     With permission from the Russian government, the Library of
  23. Congress has added six documents to the Soviet Archives
  24. collection available across the Internet.  The new files are
  25. located in /pub/soviet.archive/text.english along with the
  26. original 25 documents.  They are labeled AA - AF, and once again
  27. .BKG denotes a brief background statement and .DOC denotes the
  28. English translation of the document itself.  The README file now
  29. reflects the new, complete list of documents.

  71. General information about the Library of Congress and the Soviet
  72. Archives exhibit in particular are available in
  73. /pub/soviet.archive.  These files include:  about.lc (a brief
  74. history of the Library of Congress), conferen.log (a transcript
  75. of a live, online discussion held June 18, 1992 between the
  76. Librarian of Congress, James H. Billington, Mr. Pikhoia of the
  77. Russian Archives, and users of America On Line from all around
  78. the U.S.), and libntro (the Librarian of Congress' introduction
  79. to the Soviet Archives exhibit).

  81. An online brochure of the "Revelations from the Russian Archives"
  82. exhibit is also available in /pub/soviet.archives in two formats:
  83. a DOS print file called handbook.iii to be sent to a LaserJetIII
  84. printer, and handbook.ps to be printed to a postscript printer on
  85. either the DOS or Macintosh platform.  Since the brochure was
  86. created on DOS platform, using a LaserJetIII printer, the best
  87. results are achieved by printing the online brochure to a
  88. LaserJetIII printer using the DOS copy command (copy/b filename
  89. lpt1).
