- I was wondering if any of you people can initiate me into the immensely
- interesting field of Analog VLSI and NEURAL systems ( of course, apart from
- suggesting that I should read Carver Mead's text).
-
- Especially I would appreciate if you would enlighten me on the following:
-
-
- * What kind of behavioral description language is this ?
-
- * I am sure it is different from the conventionals like VHDL or OCTtools. But
- how different ? One difference I know is that I know something about the
- former two but nothing about the Analog VLSI.
-
- * Any references on the language using which we can obtain the physical
- layout ?
-
- * I am working on a particular architecture of Neural Net (Supervised learning)
- and I am in the process of overcoming some of the difficulties in realization
- of the circuit in discrete chip configuration. I have an immanent feeling that what I should do is to look into this Analog VLSI and Neural CAD tool.
- The combination of the words ANALOG , VLSI and NEURAL somehow seems to me
- to answer many of the variations of the doubts.
-
- * No doubt, there's a vast reservoir of thought and endless possibilities in
- the Analog VLSI vis a vis Neural Architectures.
-
- * PLEASE REPLY TO MY EMAIL ADDRESS. I AM NOT SURE I WOULD BE SPENDING MUCH TIME
- ON THE USENET. IT WOULD BE PREFERABLE FOR ME TO JUST READ EVERYTHING OFF
- MY MAILBOX.
-
- Thank you
