- The CENTRE FOR NEURAL NETWORKS

- at King's College London is one of the main centres of neural
- network research in the UK. The Centre includes workers from
- several disciplines, with activities ranging from theory to chips
- and applications. It is host to a number of conferences, workshops,
- tutorials and discussions, and has a strong collaboration with
- industry in this active area of research.

- The Centre runs a consulting service for the benefit of companies
- working on the application of neural networks and has close links
- with international neural networks organizations such as the British
- Neural Networks Society, the European Neural Network Society, and
- the Joint European Neural Networks Initiative.

- The Strand Campus is situated in the heart of London, on the north
- shore of the River Thames, directly opposite the Royal National
- Theatre, the National Film Theatre, the Royal Festival Hall and the
- Hayward Gallery. Covent Garden, Fleet Street, West End theatres,
- Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery are within a few minutes
- walk.
