- Abstract
-
- This paper describes the use of genetic algorithms
- (GAs) to design fuzzy logic controllers (FLCs). Two
- GAs are considered, a basic GA and a modified GA.
- The modified GA employs 'cross breeding' between
- different gene populations to produce a fitter
- population. Simulation results are presented which
- demonstrate the ability of the modified GA to design
- better FLCs than those obtained with the basic GA.
