- Of course, you're forgetting the BIGGEST problem - there is NO
- "united" Canada. The other 9 provinces have sufficient differences
- that it's difficult to come up with ANY kind of agreement,
- particularly when the hard-liners come out.

- And it's certainly not a "united" Canada when a large portion of the
- population refuses to be involved in the creation of the agreement,
- which is what happens when nobody from Quebec is at the table.

- Quebec nationalists are not a totally homogenous group, but the
- so-called "CSQ" is far less homogeneous. Us CSQians don't even share
- a mother tongue, let alone a specific political position, or a
- particular culture.
