  12. Thanks to all who provided answers to my problem regarding writing to external
  13. files.  A version of the code supplied by Andy Norton, using the call vname
  14. trick, did the job.  But does it not strike you odd that such a simple
  15. problem requires such a complex solution?  SAS will do just about anything,
  16. including driving you crazy :^)
