- In NOTISes July issue on page 2 it tells which screens were 15 lines--going
- to 13 lines and the rest were 17 lines going to 15 lines.
-
- We modified a good number of screens, most of which took full advantage of
- the space on the screens. We are an early release 5.1 site and I am supposed
- to pick up the report of which of our ERIC and Medline screens will be missing
- lines in the conversion during lunch today. I understand from our Tech 1 that
- the latest tape of 5.1 includes the corrected version of this report for the
- LCR file, so I can see a report of which OPAC screens will lose lines next.
-
- Knowing how hard the committees worked to develop those screens, it isn't going
- to be easy to go back to them and ask them to rework the screens again. Not to
- mention what it might do to the librarian who will be doing the rekeying of the
- information because of the wonderful text editor!
-
- Add us to the list of shocked and dismayed. Not an official opinion, mind you.
