  12. 1. Although I have not seen this explicitly stated anywhere, am I
  13. correct in my understanding of this year's enhancement process, as
  14. follows?:

  16. Phase 1: SIGs send their lists of enhancement suggestions to LIB1s who
  17.          coordinate their institution's reponses. The task is to select
  18.          the top 10 and rank them top (1), low (10) in order. These are
  19.          to be returned to the SIG chairs by Aug. 3.

  21. Phase 2: Based on returns from Phase 1, NOTIS will compile an official
  22.          enhancement ballot to be sent out around Aug. 21. (I'm not sure
  23.          what the selection or rating procedure will be for this ballot.
  24.          Does anyone know?)

  26. 2. There have been so many enhancement lists appearing on NOTIS-L
  27. recently, I have lost track of who's what, or what's who, or what's what.
  28. I would be grateful if SIG chairs would confirm, via this forum, that
  29. their "official" enhancement list has/has not already been posted. That way I
  30. can check to ensure that I have received them all and acquire any that
  31. I do not have.

  33. 3. Finally, am I correct in assuming that *all* enhancement communication
  34. will be done via NOTIS-L and we shall *not* be receiving lists via regular
  35. post?

  37. Sorry for being somewhat thick about this. At first I thought it was just me
  38. until I checked with a couple of other people who were just as fuzzy
  39. in their understanding of this year's process. Thanks.
