- Actually, the mode notations are almost the same between NB 3.x and NB4.
- The real difference in this area is between SLS and Lingua. There are
- two things that can be done to address the conversion problem...

- First, use the Set, Other Settings menu, then Type, Auto-conversion to
- turn auto conversion on. This will convert PT deltas to the new
- notation.

- Second, when calling NB 3.x files the first time in NB4, use the Import
- selection from the File menu instead of the Open selection. The
- Import selection will offer several choices, including NB 3.x/SLS and
- NB 3.x multilingual files. Using these techniques, I haven't yet
- encountered any glitches.
