- My wife is a solitary NB user at GE and needs a good translation package. She
- does mostly scientific writing. She doesn't use footnotes likes us artsy people
- since she has real data (relax, just kidding). She's getting both Software
- Bridge and WFW. Are they both equally good? She has to transfer a lot of stuff
- to Mac Word since most of the secretaries use MACs. I suggested doing the
- transfer on a 3 1/2 diskette formatted for 760K, since I believe they can be
- read on the MAC. Will the MAC easily read a NB documented translated to MAC
- Word on a DOS diskette? Can a secretary just copy it off the diskette onto the
- MAC harddrive and then treat it as a simple MAC Word document? I think life is
- more complicated than that. I wonder what will happen to mu's and degree signs?
- Any thoughts?
