  11. I have the XT-8000S Product Specification and OEM Technical Manual (1988)
  12. which covers the XT-8380S (unformated capacity of 410.09 MB) and the
  13. XT-8760S (unformated capacity of 768.92 MB).  I believe the only difference
  14. in PROMS between drives would be a newer drive may have a newer PROM which
  15. makes a small change or improvement to the drive but should not effect its
  16. compatibility.  Maxtor reserves the right to do this.  If you have any other
