- We received our Guidon software package and I had no trouble
- installing and running it from windows. I can log in at 2400
- baud and search, print, and download. Our Modem is a Hayes
- 9600B with V.42 bis and MNP5, V.32 for communications. My
- problem is trying to access Compuserv at 9600 baud, the modem
- dials and connects and I immediately get a NO CARRIER message.
- I can dial in on the OCLC Network number and work at 9600 with no
- problem but that is a long distance call. Compuserv is the only
- 9600 baud service in Milwaukee. Has anyone else had similar
- problems with a high speed meodem and Compuserv??? Any suggestions
- appreciated. I will summarize for the list.
